How to Recover Photos from Disabled iPhone

Step 2: Connect your iPhone to your computer - If there is a message on your iPhone asking you to "Trust this Computer" tap on it. This usually appears if it’s the first time you connected your iPhone to the computer.

Step 1: Go to iCloud.com/find on a different device or computer. Log in with your Apple ID to access your iCloud.

Step 2: Select All Devices once you are able to get in your iCloud.

Step 3: Select the disabled iPhone and click on Erase iPhone. This will allow your iCloud to delete your iPhone data which includes your password.

Step 4: Once the device has been erased, choose "Restore from iCloud Backup" which will allow your iPhone to be setup from the last iCloud backup that you have set.

NOTE: There should be an iCloud backup done before your iPhone got disabled. You also need to use the same Apple ID when you sign in to your iCloud when setting up the device.

Method #3. Recover your iPhone photos from an iTunes backup.

There are usually two ways to restore your phone from iTunes. One is to connect your phone to a computer with iTunes to unlock it and the other one is the Restore iPhone option within iTunes itself. See the steps for each of the scenarios below:

Scenario 1: Restore iPhone in iTunes.

Step 1: Open the latest iTunes version on your trusted computer then connect your iPhone.

Step 2: Under "Summary" click on the "Backup Now" button.

Step 3: Once that the backup is done, you can now click on "Restore iPhone". You can now update it to the most recent firmware version.

Step 4: Once that your iPhone is successfully updated, you can now select "Restore Backup" to restore your iPhone from the latest iTunes backup file. This will allow you now to access your iPhone without any security code.

Scenario 2: Connect to iTunes to unlock prompt.

Step 1: Power of your iPhone and connect it to a trusted computer with the latest version of iTunes.

Step 2: Press and hold the "Home" button on your device until the prompt "Connect to iTunes" appear.
